Humanity had mastered flights to distant planets in the solar system. However, the further the starships traveled, the more expensive and difficult it was to provide the space crews with all the necessities of life support.
Eventually, the corporations found a solution.
The starship has to be operated by just one astronaut, while all other functions are taken over by the on-board supercomputer. But psychologists were quick to point out that, because of the long duration of the flight, a person aboard a starship cannot endure complete loneliness. So bio-engineers came up with humanoid androids.
These robots could perform the same tasks on the ship as a human. But the androids could not make decisions in abnormal situations.
It was decided to send one android along with a human on the flight. It allowed the pilot to brighten up his lonely existence and not go crazy.
The android did not differ much from a human. It could talk on different topics and have friendly conversations. It had great physical strength and built-in protocols for safe behavior towards humans - the so-called "Asimov's Rules of Robotics".
The android brain was equipped with self-training algorithms to make it compatible with the pilot's personality. Besides, by using voice commands, pilot could switch the android to any desired "psycho-physical" state.
The android only needed a daily energy boost.
And you are one of the first pilots assigned to go on a long-distance flight with an android.

can't play, the lang is on russian
We are currently having some problems with the English version, so it has been temporarily removed from the list of files available for download.
